Occidental Bilbao Hotel

The executive floor had good value for money, nice city view, good air conditioning, and was quiet. The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms werenice and neat. The outdoor pool area was busy but enjoyable. There was a good selection for breakfast and the restaurant had nice food.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

Modern hotel with easy bus access to city centre, taxi cost 5-6 Euro. Good selection of food for breakfast. Comfy rooms with easy access to metro station. Nice outdoor pool.

The hotel was quite close to the city center and within walking distance to the old town. We enjoyed having a swimming pool and outdoor area to relax and cool down after exploring the city. The breakfast was very good and there was anice and neat bed in our room. The staff, particularly Maria at the bar, were very helpful and friendly.

The hotel charges extra fees for using the gym and indoor pool, which may come as a surprise to guests who expect these facilities to be included in their stay.

The room was spacious and clean, with amazingly comfortable beds. The bar staff were awesome, always keeping things tidy. Good transport links and a fab pool. The bar area was great for a drink or snack. A wonderful find.

Clean and comfortable room! We had a great stay at Occidental. The room wasvery comfy and tidy, and we loved that it had a kettle and a mini fridge. The location was also convenient, being near a metro station and not too far from the city. we had a positive experience and would recommend this hotel.

I had a fantastic stay at this luxurious hotel! The moment I walked into the lobby, I was greeted with stunning views of the city through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The modern furnishings and mood lighting created a welcoming atmosphere. My room on the fifth floor was impeccable, with light tones and high-quality bedding that provided a restful sleep. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a vast array of food options and a chef available to cook anything not already on display. The staff was always friendly and willing to assist.

I noticed that the gym was frequented by the upper middle-class locals, which gives it an authentic and vibrant atmosphere. there is a beautiful garden where you can relax and enjoy a meal at one of the nearby restaurants.

The selection available for breakfast was not worth the price charged.

We were delighted with this place. Even though it was slightly outside the old town centre, it was on a slight hill, which gave us the most amazing views of the Bergona district. The service room was excellent and the bell staff/porter were very professional. The soundproofed room was very well-equipped, with ironing facilities, a mini-bar, and in-room air conditioning. The buffet breakfast had an extensive range of options, including special diet menus, and the staff were very positive and service-minded with respect to customizing the menu for one of us who has celiac disease.

We recommend this hotel to everyone.

The bed linens and design of the hotel were excellent. The rooms were large and had a fresh interior. The food at the hotel was also very good.

The location of the hotel was not within walking distance to the city, a bit disappointing. access to the swimming pool required an extra fee, not mentioned in the pictures of the hotel.
